I just picked up a 1918 colt 1911 the barrel has a horizontal H stamped into the barrel hood. It looks like gothic lettering but the gothic lettering I have been able to find have all been vertical and didn't look like this. I am leaning more towards the roman H with serifs but I'm not 100% sure Can anyone verify or help me with figure out what barrel I have in my weapon? Any pictures would be helpful as well. Please and thank you
