For sale is this late WW2 era Colt 1911a1 "D" barrel. As the photos show this barrel has the "D" stamp on the bottom just in front of the lugs. Also, has the "C" stamp on the right lug and "P" stamp on left lug. Using Charles Clawson's 3rd edition book as a reference it is noted (page 132) that this barrel was intermixed from about serial number 2340000 to the end of production with "C" in box on right lug. Also, it looks as though this barrel as been professionally refinished. Price is $150 shipped within the CONUS.
