My apoligies to anyone who attempted to contact me about this listing and I did not respond. I was in an auto accident and have been in recovery for a long time. But I'm back now and still looking for the barrel listed below.
I am looking for a 1914 Colt government model barrel to complete my "canadian contract" 1911. From my research and advice from others I believe the correct barrel would be blued and have a "P" proof on the top but no "H". Also there would be a 5 or an S stamped just in front of the bottom lugs and possibly inspectors stamps on the side of one or both of the bottom lugs. The one example ive seen (again I beleive this is the correct barrel) had a "C" stamped on the right side bottom lug. Will consider any condition.
